3 Steps to Longer Lashes

Step 1 - Makeup Remover
It’s so important to spend a little extra time removing your mascara and liner prior to cleansing your face with your daily cleanser. Because without properly removing your mascara and liner it is going to cause more tugging around the eye while cleansing and can lead to increase lash lost. My absolute favorite makeup remover is Bioderma Crealine Micelle Solution it’s soft enough to remover stubborn eye makeup by just holding a wet cotton pad over the eye and I can still use the same makeup remover with a new cotton pad to take off the rest of my makeup.
Step 2 - Cleanse
And while it may appear that all the mascara and liner is off your lash line there are still little specks of makeup hiding there that can accumulate over time and can lead to bacteria growth. Your eyelash won’t grow faster or longer if they’re not properly cleansed to remove any existing makeup which is why it’s so important to keep your lash line healthy and clean. I use the OCuSOFT Lid Scrub Foam about 3-4 times a week. I’ve noticed that my lashes have grown more and fuller over the last couple years of using the lid foam cleanser.
Step 3 - Quality Mascara
Lastly it’s really important to use a quality mascara. I’ve tried using a drugstore mascara in the past and I've always felt like my lashes were more prone to falling out. My favorites of good quality mascaras are Yves Saint Laurent Beauty Babydoll mascara and bareMinerals Lash Domination mascara, which is definitely a more budget friendly mascara to use. The switch to a better quality mascara can make such a difference in your eyelashes because it will be easier to take it off at night and it is so much kinder to lashes and eyes.

This is something that works for me in achieving healthier and fuller lashes. It’s so important to be kind to your eyes and lashes by cleansing them and taking extra time to remove all the mascara and liner off your eyes allowing them to be able to grow fuller and beautifully.

Happy Wednesday
