One of my favorite recipes...

Almond milk chia seed

Chia seed is one of my favorite superfoods it give me that extra boost of energy I need to get through the day. Especially while I’ve been in college it's been the perfect superfoods I can easily place into one of my meals. But my favorite way to enjoy this ancient superfood is in a silky morning almond milk drink that’s sweet, filling, and can easily be done in any college dorm room at night left to be enjoyed in the morning.

10-12 oz. Unsweetened almond milk (Plain or Vanilla)
1 Tablespoon of chia seed
1/2 Teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon of vanilla extract
Glass water bottle or travel safe container

Add the liquid ingredients into a glass water bottle - Almond milk and vanilla extract

Add the dry ingredients - Chia seed

Add the last dry ingredient - Ground cinnamon

Twist the lid on and shake the bottle until all the ingredients are well distributed

At this point you can add honey for sweetness and shake it once more before refrigerating it for at least two hours prior to enjoying it (Overnight is best)

And the perfect morning drink for a quick breakfast before class or work that will give you an extra boost of energy for a great day!

Thanks so much for reading!
